Can a long distance relationship = LDR really work out?
Marie, one of my clients, called me last night in a state of emotional mess💔.
She met a handsome guy named Gerry on her trip this summer to Bali. Both felt immediate chemistry and they spent a wonderful time together.
Back on her way in the plane ✈️ she was already wondering where this is going to lead, because Gerry is living in London while she is based in Austria.
In the beginning she doubted that this #longdistancerelationship is going to survive. But since then, Gerry skyped her on a daily basis and they even met in person every second weekend.
Still, in the past weeks, she senses him becoming more distant and is afraid of losing connection to Gerry. I was not surprised because that is what most couples experience at some point of their long distance relationship.
On the other side, my friend Julia has a fulfilling and happy relationship with Martin who lives in Moscow as an expatriate.
